Podcast Topic(s)
This week, with Withstand the Fury absent, Draxenath and Sir Klaus discuss the recent acquisition of inXile Entertainment and Obsidian Entertainment by none other than Microsoft…yes, the same Microsoft that nearly ruined Obsidian several years ago by cancelling a AAA RPG project in development at that studio.
From there, the discussion shifts to tabletop RPGs, and in particular a game called Mutants and Masterminds, a game about superheroes. Which, in turn, leads into a discussion about the recent passing of Stan Lee, and his influence on comics and the superhero genre.
Also, it would appear that Spectaculars (another superhero-themed tabletop game mentioned during the episode) recently reached its Kickstarter goal; congratulations to the good people bringing that game to life!

Microsoft buys a couple developers and Stan Lee passes away. Coincidence? Actually, yes.
